01. OVERVIEW
CJ Digital has been working with The Mitre for over 14 months. We started with our SEO service and due to the success we also took on their social media channels as well as their paid social campaigns. The Mitre is a residential pub in Richmond, London, that has a focus on quality and giving people the best experience of a proper British pub.
2. SOLUTION
The Mitre was a great pub, with staff that cared and with a good offering of Neapolitan pizzas and drinks. However, as it was a quiet residential pub with no foot traffic, relying on word of mouth limited the revenue the pub could make. We were engaged to increase the revenue and put The Mitre on the map.
CJ Digital approached these tasks by implementing a campaign across SEO, Paid Search and Social. When launching our Paid Search and Social campaign we took a full funnel approach to increase reach and brand awareness by prioritising traffic, engagement, conversion and lifetime value. This was achieved by producing visually creative and engaging assets highlighting the pubs’s story and a mixture of relevant visuals and accompanying materials in the form of image carousels and still images.
Across the SEO campaign, CJ Digital focused on services that would bring the most results, getting The Mitre in the first positions of the map. We created a keyword matrix and added a blog to the website so The Mitre could rank for more keywords. We then continued optimising and improving visibility across the site to allow the growth of organic performance. A strong content strategy was produced driving consistent seasonality content aiming to boost local authority and niche audiences to the website. As well as on-page SEO we focused on getting The Mitre featured in key articles to drive traffic as well as bringing their domain authority to a competitive level.
3. RESULTS
When Chris, the owner, told us his weekly revenue number and goal to increase it by 30%, we knew with our proven strategies we could achieve this for him. Month on month we achieved between 10% and 50% increases in revenue compared to the previous month and the last 3 months has seen an average increase in 42.85% increase in revenue. We achieved this by increasing the traffic to the website with over 1000 new unique visitors every month. 75% of this new traffic comes from our SEO efforts and the organic traffic from Google. The Mitre saw a 58% increase in 1st page rankings within the positions 1-10. Another key focus was their Instagram, that we have grown from 594 to over 2000 followers.
